My article "Do You See Me? Power and visibility in applied theatre with black male youth and the police" was featured in a special edition on race in Youth Theatre Journal, issue 31:2, 2017.
This academic year, I will be working with the UCF Adaptive Community to direct an devised theatre piece with participants who have acquired physical and cognitive disabilities.
In September 2017 I directed Ellen McLaughlin's Iphigenia and Other Daughters at Theatre UCF.
Summer of 2017 activities included directing a youth-devised adaptation of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar featuring the music of Bob Dylan, a Collision Project with the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA, serving as an education consultant and lead teaching artist with Adventure Theatre MTC in Bethesda, MD, and presenting at the American Alliance for Theatre and Education in New Orleans, LA.
I was recently featured as a UCF alum doing innovative work in the arts in the article "Creating a Scene" in UCF's Pegasus magazine.
